Your demons must be brought forth before you can fight them.
However, you must not let them run loose!
Hold each one with equanimity in your full presence.
Observe! ...the veils burn away.
Wherefore must the veils of the satanic self be burned away
at the fire of love.
The steed in this Valley is pain;
and if there be no pain this Valley will never end.
Do I believe constantly pursuing my passions will lead to any meaningful fulfillment?
Do I believe my passions are a curse or to be used as a tool for transcendence?
